Work Experience

Product Analyst | OLX Group | Mar 2022 - June 2024

I developed automated monitoring systems using Python, SQL, GitLab and Jenkins to perform ETL operations that when necessary trigger email alerts containing key data. Additionally I'm also using Tableau to create real-time reporting dashboards.

Business Intelligence Analyst | letgo | Jun 2021 - Mar 2022

I leveraged SQL and CleverTap to address complex ad-hoc business inquiries and worked alongside diverse business partners to create self-service dashboards using Tableau.

Trust & Safety Business Rules Analyst | letgo | Jun 2019 - Jun 2021

I used Python and SQL to analyse data concerning rule: performance, automation, logic, and creation. Additionally, I oversaw anti-fraud initiatives, where I used PyTorch to build and refine machine learning models aimed at identifying and extracting prohibited text from images for subsequent analysis.

Trust & Safety Fraud Investigator | letgo | Jan 2018 - Jun 2019

I was involved in the complete rule development lifecycle, encompassing data analysis, rule creation, and performance analysis. Using SQL I examined big data within Redshift databases to identify suspicious activity in user listings and interactions. Additionally with an aim to delve into advanced projects, I began learning and using Python.

Customer Care Analyst | letgo | Sept 2015 - Dec 2017

I conducted reviews of user-generated content to ensure adherence to policies, while also providing user assistance via email and social media channels. Additionally, I controlled the analysis of CSAT and NPS reports.

Senior Technical Analyst | Colt Technology Services | Oct 2009 - Oct 2013

I assessed intricate B2B data network orders for technical compatibility and contributed to coordinating educational campaigns, both locally and online for >1000 employees spanning multiple time zones.

Technical Support Analyst | Colt Technology Services | Oct 2006 - Oct 2009

I served as the initial point of contact for B2B clients encountering technical challenges on multi-site ethernet data networks, offering initial support and coordinating issue resolution with senior network technicians when required.

Cloud Resume Challenge

The aim of this project was to get practical, hands-on experience using AWS by creating an app and workflow that counts page visits to a website and then updates and returns a value from a database, displaying that value on the webpage, essentially a front-to-backend, static website with a visitor counter.

This setup was then later fully configured using Terraform and GitLab CI.

With this project I was not following a course, there were no step-by-step instructions, instead there were some high-level objectives that I had to figure out and achieve.

The Cloud Resume Challenge offers a practical platform for aspiring cloud professionals to tackle real-world scenarios encountered in cloud-related roles. Participants engage in activities including building a resume website and configuring CI/CD for automated deployments.

This webpage page is the frontend result of the project, the visitor counters can be seen below.

<< Click this image to see the backend architecture of this resume site. Here you can see how the AWS services all fit together and how I have used other cloud technologies to deploy it as a service.

I have documented my learnings from the Cloud Resume Challenge (coding_clouds) on dev.to with the following posts:
